Must have excellent written and verbal skills. The Senior IT Project Engineer interacts directly with clients and represents our company.

We seek a teammate who is ready to define processes, set standards for service delivery and learn new tools and technologies. This is a growth position within a growing company. The ideal candidate will:

• Define technical standards and reference architectures

• Serve as escalation point for other team members and jump into the ticket queue to help as needed

• Review tickets for patterns and work to eliminate the root causes of issues

• Design client-based solutions and present these solutions to clients

This Senior IT Project Engineer works comfortably in a team environment and interacts directly with customers. Information Technology constantly evolves, and candidates must have the drive to stay on the forefront of technology relative to the services we provide.

Salary is based on experience and performance on a technical quiz.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience with or a strong desire to learn the following:

PSA and RMM tools

PowerShell scripting

Ubiquiti and Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points and firewalls

Advanced Office365 administration.

Routing, switching and firewall configuration as well as network design

Hyper-V on Windows 2016 and Windows 2019

Active Directory and Windows server skills including; DHCP, DNS, NTFS permissions, and Group Policy creation.

Intune

Sharepoint Migration and Management

Ability to document issues clearly and effectively

Ability to manage projects and work with minimal supervision and guidance

Additional Requirements:

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs (servers and backup systems) and have their own vehicle in order to visit multiple customers per day in central Ohio area as needed.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

This role requires some On-Site and is not a remote position. We do offer some flexibility to work from home in a hybrid model.
